2 flat tablespoons of coarse ground coffee (I used Gimme! Leftist)
12 oz filtered water, heated to a boil

Place grounds in dry French Press. Pour in water right off the boil. Stir with wooden spoon briefly to get the grounds mixed up throughout the water. Place lid on press but leave the plunger up. Start timer for approximately 4 minutes (maybe closer to 4.5). Press plunger very slowly and pour.

It’s pretty strong, but not disgustingly so. Very enjoyable and rejuvenating. :)

If anybody has good tips for making coffee I would love to hear them, because I’m still learning. I’ll try this again tomorrow morning to make sure it wasn’t just a fluke.

My performance of the Bruch violin concerto in g minor on...

My performance of the Bruch violin concerto in g minor on November 16, 2008. Accompanist: Kathy Hansen.

LOST.

LOST.

Downtown bus stop.

Downtown bus stop.

iPod update.

so I realized I haven’t done an update in a little while. I’m sitting back on the couch with the pellet stove crankin’, and I decided to do a post from my iPod touch. Even though the above took me like 2 minutes to type.

I love the song Death And All His Friends by Coldplay.
It’s very time consuming so far, but I think once I’ve finished this one the future reports won’t take as long since I’ll already have established a template. I’ve been working at this for an hour already and still have quite a bit left to do.

"Who can study in Boston Streets? I am unable to observe the various objects that I meet, with sufficient precision. My Eyes are so diverted with Chimney Sweeps, Carriers of Wood, Merchants, Ladies, Priests, Carts, Horses, Oxen, Coaches, Market men and Women, Soldiers, Sailors, and my Ears with the Rattle Gabble of them all that I can’t think long enough in the Street upon any one Thing to start and pursue a thought.”

- John Adams, The Diary and Autobiography of John Adams.

The New Facebook?

Okay, so I know most everyone seems to totally hate the new Facebook, but there is one thing I like about it. I won’t have to scroll past all the annoying application boxes on someone’s profile to find their wall or a specific field I want. It collects all that obnoxious stuff into “Boxes.”

Still though, I’m not saying I like it. Also, the nav bar on the top is totally inefficient. The Facebook logo and the “Home” button (Right next to each other) lead to the same place. Same goes for the “Profile” and “Benjamin Hummel” buttons.

Overall I can deal with it. It’s actually starting to grow on me.

This Is How You Stick It To Lying Republican Hacks

This Is How You Stick It To Lying Republican Hacks
